What would be your mission?
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Jira Administration Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering, configuring, and optimizing Jira platform, ensuring it supports seamless collaboration, workflow automation, and efficient project management across the organization.
What would be your responsibilities?
- Jira platform administration
Administer, configure and manage Jira environment, set up and manage projects, workflows, user roles and permissions
- Workflow and automation configuration
Design and configure custom workflows and automation rules to optimise processes, boost team productivity, and improve operational efficiency
Manage the Asset part of Jira, develop asset automation flows and integrations to ensure accurate tracking, organization and reporting of company assets
- Integration and third-party tools management
Integrate Jira with other tools and platforms to enhance cross-platform collaboration, manage third-party Jira apps
- Reporting and performance monitoring
Create and manage customized dashboards, filters, and reports in Jira to support data-driven decision making, project tracking, team performance, and reporting needs. Monitor Jira performance and provide regular reports to management
- Process improvement and system documentation
Continuously improving Jira processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and user experience, document Jira configurations and workflows
- User support and training
Provide training sessions, user guides and support for Jira, educating team members and troubleshooting Jira-related issues to support self-sufficiency and ensure system availability
What kind of expertise are we looking for?
- 3+ years of experience in Jira administration, configuration and support
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Jira, including advanced features like automation, asset management, and workflow customization
- Knowledge of integrating Jira with other software tools (e.g., Confluence, Slack)
- Familiarity with scripting and automation in Jira (e.g., using Jira Automation or ScriptRunner).
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, Scrum/Kanban, and project management tools.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks, especially if using Jira Service Management
- Basic understanding of APIs, SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Groovy) is a plus
